- According to Ayurveda, stress is closely related to three vital doshas, in our body - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
- The amount of negative stress depends on the proper balance of these doshas.
- To maintain good health , it’s important to fine-tune these doshas to be in perfect balance.
Some easy ways to reduce stress :-
1]. Take a Bath :-
bath relaxes the nervous system, releases tension, and helps to quiet the mind.
you can use some amount of ginger powder and backing soda to get more relaxation.
If your pitta is high, be mindful that the ginger and baking soda can increase internal heat and you may not want to stay in the bath as long
salt bath can also be very relaxing and cleansing.
Use hot water for kapha and vata, warm water for pitta.
2]. Oil Pulling :-
Swishing and gargling with warm,sesame oil or coconut oil.
It Helps to remove tension from the jaw, improves the sense of taste, and removes natural toxins from the mouth, teeth, and gums.
Begin by sipping a tablespoon or two of Daily Swish.
Swish the oil from side to side, front to back, and through the teeth for up to 15 min around.
3]. Do Abhyanga :-
This ancient practice of self-massage with oil calms the nervous system.
Do this at Each morning, before a shower or bath.
3]. Sit in Nature :-
It is enough to activate the “rest and digest” capacity of the parasympathetic nervous system, which governs periods of relaxation.
4]. Pranayama :-
Prana, the vital breath, is the subtle essence of the life force that animates each of us.
The practice of Nadi Shodhana is especially effective at clearing accumulated tension and relieving stress.
5]. Listen to Serene Music :-
Music has a vital effect on your nervous system, mind and emotions.
When you listen to music for its therapeutic effect, keep the volume low.
Increasing the volume causes noise pollution and actually increases stress.
